Working with Bonanza Venture Holdings Sdn Bhd, the Ipoh City Council again distributed some 150 food parcels to the needy community around the city recently.
The effort was to ease the hardship of the folks from the underprivileged sector.
The parcels were handed over to the respective city councillors and representatives.
Ipoh Mayor Datuk Rumazi Baharin was on hand to present the food parcels.
Among the representatives were M S Jayagopi (Zone 6), A Ganesan (Zone 7), Mohd Rafaad Razali (Zone 10), Ho Wai Mun (Zone 11), Dr Richard Ng (Zone 14) and Nurul Huda Ahmad Nator (Zone 9).
The packets will be distributed to residents in these areas. The parcels consisted of rice, flour, sugar and other essential food items.
