Buntong residents get rubbish bins

The Ipoh City Council held another round of rubbish bins distribution in the city recently.

This time around, some 582 rubbish bins were distributed in line with their cleanliness campaign.

Present was Ipoh City Council Secretary Ahmad Munis Ishak along with S Jayagope , S Manisegaran (Ipoh City Council deputy director for Health) among others.

The practice of hanging rubbish bags on gates, fences and trees should be avoided and the rubbish should be disposed of in proper rubbish bins.

The Ipoh City Council will also like to educate residents of the proper use of rubbish to achieve the greater goal of maintaining a clean and healthy city.

Another 130,000 units of rubbish bins will be distributed in stages to housing estates and residential areas over the next five years.

In the meantime, another 186 rubbish bins were distribute at Taman Kar King yesterday. (Sunday March 27).

This time around city councillor Tony Khoo and team went around to distribute the rubbish bins.
