In conjunction with World Heart Day 2022, Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) will be in Ipoh for a roadshow from today till October 2, 2022 to spread awareness and educate the public on controlling risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
This is part of IJN’s effort to support the global initiative to reduce global mortality from non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by 25% by 2025.
Various activities lined up for the public throughout the 5-day roadshow, such as Heart Screening, CPR Demonstration, Diabetes Education Management and many more.
They are also bringing IJN College programmes for potential SPM students who wish to pursue their studies in the medical field.
Their recruitment team will also be at the roadshow for walk-in interviews for multiple positions on 1 October to 2 October 2022 at Level 6, Weil Hotel.
Media members are also invited to a programme on Oct 2 from 11am at the ground floor of Ipoh Parade Mall for their booths,
Media members are also eligible for free basic health screening.
