Ipoh City goes under CMCO again

The Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced today that the Ipoh sub-district will go under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for two weeks from Thursday, Jan 7.

This is following the increase in Covid-19 cases of late.

Ismail Sabri said that there have been 106 cases throughout the city in the last 14 days.

“The Health Ministry has also confirmed that there are some active clusters involving factories which are located in several industrial areas in Ipoh,” he said at his daily press conference.
