With the MCO going on for nearly one and a half years now, charitable homes and organisations are finding it difficult to get support from donors and well-wishers.

One such home which cannot make ends meet is the Ipoh Yixin Orphanage located in No 152, Jalan Dato Lau Pak Khuan, Taman Ipoh, 31400 Ipoh, Perak.

According to its spokesperson, Yangi, 90% of the donors have no longer come forward to donate supplies.

“Although there are still benevolent people who transfer money to us, we still have to bear the rent, utility bills and the daily expenses for 36 children. 

“We are facing a serious shortage of funds. We are currently trying to the center to pay its utility bills.

“Among the expenses are monthly rent for premises RM1,650, Utility bill and telephone bill, RM2,000, payroll for seven staff 7 staff, RM11,200, Tuition fee, RM4,800, daily expenses, RM1,500, Food expenses, RM7,000, Transportation fee, RM2,150. Total of RM30,300 per month.

“Although presently we have managed to come up with RM28388, we are still short of RM1,912. We hope to find some kind hearted people to help us. Those who wish to help the orphanage can do the needful as below :-
