Local developer Kinta Properties topped up their earlier contribution of RM40,000 by another RM60,000 towards the assistance of the victims of the freak storm which hit residents in Kampung Tawas in January.

As part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR), they teamed up with the Ipoh City Council to deliver aid to the 44 houses which were affected in Taman Tasik Damai and Kampung Tawas.

Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin along with Kinta Properties Sdn Bhd director Edwin Tan Beow Aik went on a field trip to visit residents in the affected areas today.

Also present was Arif Mohd Zainuddin, assistant director of the Engineering Department at the council.

Several houses in Lorong 9 which were affected by the storm were provided with new roofing while several wooden houses were also rebuilt due to the severity of the damages.

The Ipoh City Council thanked Kinta Properties Sdn Bhd for its generosity in helping these underprivileged folks in difficult times.

They also hope that more corporate citizens will follow the example of Kinta Properties in helping the needy.

Syabas Kinta Properties for exemplary work done !
