A delegation led by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH Perak Chapter) led by their chairman Vincent Ee paid a courtesy call on the director of Perak state’s Fire and Emergency services, Azmi Osman recently.

Also present was vice chairman, Tony Wong (1969 Business Suites) along with committee members made up of Muhamad Hairil Kumaradas (Symphony Suite Hotel) and T. Tharamarajah (Hotel Excelsior).

Also present at the meet-up session was assistant director, Syed Azman Syed Ghazali to greet the visitors.

Among the topics of discussion were the safety aspects and features in hotels and advice on the setting-up of in-house response teams and fire drills which are mandatory in accordance with law.

The positive session was in line with MAH Perak to ensure the safety and security of their guests and staff members.

“The meeting also gave us some insight and ideas on the topics we wanted to implement among the various hotels in Perak. We have some 68 member hotels in our chapter”, added Ee who is also the general manager of the  Flemington Hotel in Taiping.

MAH Perak also plans to pay courtesy calls on more government and related agencies to get to know each other in the near future.

Syabas to MAH Perak in their quest to “reach out” to engage and make new acquaintance for mutual benefit.
