Perak FC has appointed the services of well-travelled football coach, Lim Teong Kim for the 2023 season.
In making the announcement Perak FC is hoping to turn its fortunes in the coming year.
Lim has signed a two-year contract with an option of extending for another year. It is his hope to improve the standard of the game in the state and the country overall.
He comes with a sterling background as Lim was with top German club Bayern Munich Youth team and also the Italian team, Bologna FC during his stint there.
He has worked with famous names like Thomas Muller, David Alaba, Toni Kroos and Emre Can.
On the local scene, he was the National Director for development for the national team from 2013 to 2016.
Perak FC president Dato Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi said that it is time for Perak to lay the foundation for a great team for the future.
He also added that the Perak FC team is in the process of change and looks forward for a better performance in the football league after its dismal performances this year.
“We also hope to introduce more young and talented players to boost the state squad. We also want to repay the loyalty of Perak supporters by giving out 10,000 free tickets for the last Perak game from Sept 16 to 17 online” , he added.
