Things are slowly looking up this festive season in Ipoh as malls and hotels look to create a jolly mood despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Ipoh Parade Mall remains a sight to behold. With its theme of ‘A Sparkling Christmas’.


Shoppers can witness sight of sparkly silver and gold baubles, proud reindeers, as well as a grove of golden Christmas trees – all to usher in the most wonderful time of year. 


According to Ipoh Parade Advertising and Promotions Assistant Manager, Lim Huey Tyng, the mall decided on the Christmas theme to spread joy and sprinkle a glimmer of hope to everyone’s lives amid the Covid-19 pandemic. 


“Despite the shadow of the pandemic that hangs heavy over this year’s festivities, we want to encourage the public to continue to persevere, and to trust that better days are ahead,” said Lim.


To welcome the Yuletide season, Ipoh Parade is inviting the public to participate in its series of fascinating activities slated for the weekend of Dec 19 and 20.


Among activities lined up for children include an Arts and Crafts Workshop, a Mascot Party, Gingerbread Man Cookies Baking Workshop, Station Games and Spin and Win Contest. 


Dance enthusiasts can also drop by the mall on both days for the Christmas Hip Hop Dance as well as Latin and Salsa Fusion dance performances.


As an added bonus, the mall is also rewarding its shoppers with a sweet set of Christmas tea cups.
