The Deputy Health Minister, Dr Lee Boon Chye will officiate the World Kidney Day 2020 fun run to be held at the Stadium Indera Mulia Ipoh Saturday, March 28, 2020.

The event is organised by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Malaysian Society of Nephrology (MSN) and the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) to  promote “Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere” .Presently, CKD affects 2.9 million Malaysians.  

The meaningful event will also hold a dialogue session with CKD patients to discuss their challenges.

This run for a reason includes a 5km Fun Run for general entries and a 1km Fun Walk for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients and caregivers.

A line-up of exciting happenings at the event for the public including a lucky draw prizes, health checks and booths and cooking demos. 

Tickets are priced at RM38 (for 500 early bird participants) and RM48 (normal price) for the 5km Fun Run. A RM25 fee applies for the 1km Fun Walk (for patients and caregivers only).
