Great news for those who have defaulted on the Ipoh City Council traffic compounds.
The Ipoh City Council is offering a 70% discount on all traffic compounds.
The directive takes effect from tomorrow Monday, Nov 15 till Dec 31, 2021. The move is under the Road Transport Act (Car Parking).
“The generous offer is to help the general public with their burden and cost of living,” read the statement.
The discount applies to those offences like parking outside the stipulated lot and not displaying their parking coupon.
For other offences, the normal discount and procedures apply.
Payments can be made at the Council’s counters, Drive Thru counters and at the UTC counters from 8.30am to 4pm/6pm.

The discount is given on an automatic basis without any application for the convenience of the Ipoh residents.
