Five year-old kid, Nur Mardhiah Shahadah who is suffering from cancer of the eyes and lungs received much needed aid from the Ipoh City Council’s caring community programme.
Representing Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin was the council’s its communications officer, Syahrizal Azmi along with Kuala Kangsar council communications officer, Zunaidah Zulkifli and Econsave Jelapang representatives, Effendy Rosman and Ooi Kean Hock.
They presented RM1,400 worth of milk, pampers and other daily essentials to the child’s parents in Sungai Siput (N).
“It is hoped that the contribution will help ease the burden of the family,” said Syah.
Some RM1 million has been allocated under the Ipoh City Council’s caring community programme during the pandemic.
