A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Majuperak United Solar JV Sdn Bhd (MUJV) and Ipoh City Council at a ceremony recently.
The initiative is expected to save a total of RM2 million overall for the Ipoh City Council.
It is also in line with the city’s low carbon city initiatives.
Through this MOU, the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels at one of the Ipoh City Council’s Amanjaya poultry market.
They will also help to develop solar rooftop carports as a solution for rooftop parking sites with no roof.
Kudos to the Ipoh City Council for its far sighted plans to harvest green energy.
