Ipoh will soon have a British sounding district especially to boost the food and beverage Industry – The Piccadilly @ Greentown.
It is part of the Prosperous Perak Plan 2030.
Present to launch the project was Perak Menteri Besar Dato Saarani Mohamad and others heads of departments.
The guest of honour was present was Duli Yang Amat Mulia Raja DiHilir Perak Darul Ridzuan, Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah.
According to Saarani the project will help boost the real estate market in the city.
“In line with our objectives, this project will help in the formation of a prosperous and livable community and take a holistic approach in supporting the real estate sector,” said Saarani in his address.
Of late, Ipoh known as a “sleepy town” has woken up from its slumber to draw tourists and investment to the city and the state overall.
A recent Star report (Jan 20) also highlighted that Ipoh food also tastes better. Ipoh is now so popular for Dim Sum, Ipoh coffee, Rendang Tok, Ipoh Chicken Rice, Nasi Kandar and more.
