Ipoh based Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) is a community-based centre that provides opportunities for senior citizens to stay active, healthy, and socially connected. 

The centre located at Waller Court encourages older adults to participate in various activities that promote physical well-being, mental stimulation, and meaningful social interaction.

They offer activities such as exercise sessions, recreational programmes, skills development, health-related activities, and community gatherings. These programmes help senior citizens maintain an active lifestyle while building friendships and reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation. 

Beyond providing activities, PAWE Ipoh also plays an important role in empowering older adults to remain independent and involved in the community. Through its supportive environment, the centre encourages seniors to share their knowledge, develop new skills, and participate in activities according to their interests and abilities.

Overall, PAWE Ipoh serves as a valuable community platform for senior citizens, helping them enjoy a more active, healthy, and fulfilling life while strengthening connections among older adults and the wider community.

The Ipoh Centre has more than 190 members registered and believed to be the most active in the Northern Region . Membership is free unless any particular activity or events organised, It is given a yearly subsidy by the Jabatan Kebajikan Negeri for maintenance.

Presently the group has daily exercises ( Zumba/aerobic/walkabouts) and language classes at their temporary location/office at Waller Court area Ipoh. Attendance daily is about 30 to 40 participants.
