Health supplement, BioFri’s Northern Region roadshow was a runaway success judging from the turnout of distributors and supporters at the Mercure Penang Beach.
The gathering also served to introduce their new product – BioFri Synbiotic from their stable of health products and also bring Christmas cheer to those gathered.
Founder, Frida Khong was accompanied by Dato Annie Chin who is also the Honorary Consul for Brazil and also the Fundraising Ambassador for the Women’s Centre for Change (WCC Penang).
Dato Annie thanked BioFri for being so generous to donate RM1,000 towards WCC since they are all the way from Ipoh.
“This is an excellent gesture by BioFri to show concern on women’s issues and their well-being,” added Dato Annie.
In the meantime, another RM1,000 donation each was also made to Bethesda Home which cares for the elderly and the Children’s Protection Society Penang.
They were represented by Daniel Thiagarajan and Catherine Turner respectively. They also received wheelchairs, water purifiers, daily necessities, face masks, sanitizers among others.
“Although we were established in Sept last year, our all-in-one supplement has received good response from the public due to its health benefits.
“The product helps to detox our internal organs and eventually bring overall general health benefits,” added Khong.
In keeping with the festive mood, Ipoh’s popular entertainer, Brian Durado kept the guests serenaded with oldies and current hit songs.
Guests were also seen taking to the dance floor for an impromptu session.
