Security forces members are always remembered for their sacrifices in defending the country, a Ipoh City Councillor took the initiative to distribute Bubur Lambuk at the General Operations Force (GOF) North Brigade, Ulu Kinta here today.(March 20)
Datuk Mazlan Abd Rahman,Chief Councillors Whip said:’this is one way to show our appreciation for their bravery, courage and selfless commitment in times of emergencies and other incidents.
“This time I decided to give the packets solely to the personnel, their families and pensioners.
“Earlier we distributed them to the public and local community,”he told reporters after giving away the Bubur Lambuk at the entrance of the camp.
Mazlan is also in charge of Ulu Kinta Zone under the Ipoh City Council.
A total of 400 packets were given out.
