A local businessman came forward to do his part to bring some shine to B40 group through a political party by giving out duit Raya and rice packets for them to celebrate the festive season.
Kongress India Muslim Malaysia (KIMMA) President Datuk Seri Syed Ibrahim Kader presented RM150 and 5kg rice bags to 200 recipients here recently.
According to him, the donation came from Chairman of Malik Streams Group of Companies, Datuk Abdul Malik Dasthigeer.
KIMMA through their branches in Perak identified those who need assistance.
Syed Ibrahim said:”Perak is the last stopover to give away the aid.
“So far we have distributed the aid to 2,000 recipients in all of the states,” he added.
