Four primary school pupils from the city have been selected to participate in the Program Bridge Summer Camp 2025 to be held in Fukuoka, Japan in July thi year.
The program introduced and managed since 2001 by Ipoh City Council and with the cooperation of the State Education Department is an initiative to connect and unite the culture and ideology of the participants from 40 countries in the Asia Pacific region.
The pupils as junior ambassadors who represent their cities will also enhance the friendship among the participating countries.
The pupils were invited by the council to attend a session to share the experience related by former participants of the camp held at Dewan Kuliah here on January 25.
Present were council’s City Community Director Romzi Zamri and also a representative Wan Mohd Hazihan Wan Husain from the State Education Department.
