Good news for motorists who have pending unpaid parking summonses.
The Ipoh City Council is offering a 70% discount on your summon ticket for those who pay online.
For those who want to pay over the counter, a 50% discount will be offered.
This offer ends May 31, 2023.
The discount is in conjunction with the 35th anniversary celebrations of the Ipoh City Council.
In the meantime, the council is also moving towards a fully digital payment for all car parking lots.
Motorists can use the mobile app PARK@PERAK for this purpose.
This is in line with the Ipoh Smart City initiatives by 2030.
As such, printed parking coupons are not being sold by the council from June 1, 2022. However, those holding such coupons can utilise them till Dec 31, 2023.
The council has also appointed several agents for digital the digital platform.
