The International Ipoh Fashion Week (IIFW) 2022 edition is back from October 20 till 23, 2022 this time around.
The annual event had to take a hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown measures.
The showcase is expected to feature local and international designers and models.
Among the models are Indonesian, Nepal, Pan Asian models and other foreign models Malaysia from Turkey, Iran and Bangladesh.
As a run-up to the main event, there will be a mini exhibition by Indonesian designers.
Among the highlights include the charity gala dinner attended by royalties and other dignitaries on Oct 21, 2022 at the Hotel Casuarina @ Meru.
On Oct 22, there will also be a young fashion designers showcase at Jalan Bandar Timah in Oldtown Ipoh and subsequently on Oct 23, there will be the closing ceremony at the Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah too.
A press conference will be held on July 12 at the Sabah Tea Garden in Taman Chateau from 10am to offer more details. Proceeds from the show will also be donated to the Ipoh General Hospital’s paediatric care unit.
Present at the press conference will be State Exco for Housing, Local Government and Tourism Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammad Radzi to lend support.
Penang Hyperlocal and Ipoh Hyperlocal are among the media partners for the event.
