The International Ipoh Fashion Week (IIFW) 2022 which is the fourth edition will be held from October 20 till 23, 2022.
The theme for this year is “Fashion with a heart”
Present at a recent press conference was Haryanti Abubakar from Tourism Malaysia in Jakarta and Indonesian designer Martini Suarsa.
Also in attendance was IIFW founder Louis Sebastian and his wife Adeline Khan.
The pageant will also showcase some 15Â models from Indonesia.
“We want to feature young designers and models for better exposure on the international platform. It will also help them grow and improve themselves”, added Suarsa.
As a run-up to the main event, there will be a mini exhibition by the Indonesian designers.
Among the highlights include the charity gala dinner attended by royalties and other dignitaries on Oct 21, 2022 at the Hotel Casuarina @ Meru.
On Oct 22, there will also be a young fashion designers showcase at Jalan Bandar Timah in Oldtown Ipoh and subsequently on Oct 23, there will be the closing ceremony at the Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah too.
Proceeds from the show will also be donated to the Ipoh General Hospital’s paediatric care unit and Perak Foodbank.
