In conjunction with the upcoming deepavali celebration, the Ipoh City Council did its bid to distribute festive goodies.
On hand was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin to hand over the goodies.
Among the 60 odd recipients were 20 employees from the council. Another five fire brigade volunteers also received their goodies.
Others were from the needy local community in Buntong and Kampung Simee.
“We hope that this contribution will make their celebration more meaningful and also show appreciation to the fire brigade volunteers,” said Rumaizi.
Also present was Ipoh council secretary Ahmad Munir and key members of the Ipoh City Council.
