The Ipoh City Council will celebrate its 35th anniversary which falls on May 27th, 2023 with loads of fun-filled activities for the young and old.
For a start, there is the 70% discount for parking summonses being paid online.
Those who pay over the counter will enjoy a 50% discount.
On 27th itself families can enjoy free entrance to the Aquatic Centre in Kampung Simee and also at the Gunung Lang boat rides.
Other highlights include the Drawing Carnival for kids (May 20) at Stadium Indera Mulia, Fishing Competition at Gunung Lang, Explorace@Council vicinity, (June 17), Datuk Bandar Football Tournament Under-12 (June 17-18) at Stadium Perak and Datuk Bandar Trophy Bowling at Superbowl Ipoh (June 14-16).
There is also a Ladies Fun Walk on May 28 for 3.5km for women to be dressed in their best for this competition.
Meanwhile, the Ipoh Half Marathon 2023 will be held on June 25th from Dataran Ipoh from 2am to 10am.
