In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year, the Ipoh City Council gave out goodies for the Chinese staff who will be celebrating the Year of the Dragon.
In all, some 18 staff members received their packages from Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin. Also present was council secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak and heads of departments.
The council hopes that the contribution will make those celebrating the Chinese New Year a meaningful gathering.
It has been the tradition of the Ipoh City Council to hand out goodies to staff members celebrating major celebrations in the country.
