With the aim to improve, upgrade and prepare for the extensive usage of digital approach, Ipoh City Council and XOX Berhad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) here on Sept 14.
The MoU was signed by Ipoh City Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud and Executive Director Roy Ho who represented XOX.
It is a follow up of an earlier MoU signed on May 24,2022 with XOX and the Ipoh City Council to strengthen the parameter and lay the foundation to formalise the strategic technology sharing.
This includes upgrading public transport through digital electronic application which is made available by the Ipoh City Council.
Enhance, improve and expand all media facilities “Digital out of home” in Ipoh City.
Electronic charging stations for vehicles in strategic locations.
Establish a digital advertisement network and study and prepare prospects to enhance the tourism industry, investments, business and also to improve collective lifestyle.
