It is festive time and Ipoh City Council under its Program MBI Prihatian brought cheers to 50 of its employees celebrating Deepavali.
The celebration falls on Thursday, October 31.
They each received cash and goodies from Ipoh City Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud at a function at the council’s building here today.
Rumaizi said:”We hope the contribution will ease their burden and make preparations to celebrate the joyous occasion.
“It is an annual affair as the council will make similar contributions during other festive seasons, “he added.
Also present were councillors and council’s heads of departments.
