Ipoh Hyperlocal’s Chandra receiving his goodie bag from the Mayor

The Ipoh City Council together with Syarikat TLB Enterprise and Management jointly held the Ipoh Dato Bandar buka puasa event for Perak Media Bureau Chiefs here recently.
Present were Ipoh City Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud and the company’s director Beh Teck Lee and council’s heads of departments were present to play host to media members.
The event among others was to forge close rapport between the council and the media for the overall well-being of the city.
Rumaizi in his speech said:”I always look forward to meeting and mingling with bureau chiefs and getting to know them better.
” I hope such events will strengthen the cooperation and also the interests of the city residents as a whole,” he added.
The mayor also praised the press for their balanced reporting in the print and electronic media to get a clearer picture so that certain quarters will not politicise the issues.
