Some 500 members of the public took part in the Car Free Day in Ipoh held around the Ipoh City Council vicinity recently.
On hand was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin and his team.
Various activities were planned for the event which is the first after the lockdowns.
The event was also to promote a Cleaner, Greener & Smart Lifestyle city.
The theme for today is the Chinese New Year as it will be celebrated on a grand scale.
Visitors were presented with face masks and gloves contributed by Top Glove (10,000 units and 5,000 units gloves), F&N Beverages contributed 100 Plus and Cycledios presented Mandarin oranges.
The Car Free Day will be at the end of the month.
