Some 853 units of rubbish bins (120 litre) were distributed to residents in Simpang Pulai by the Ipoh City Council recently.
On hand was MBI councillor Azmi Murad Muhamad Yusof and team.
The residents were surprised yet delighted with the presentation and greeted the officials.
The residents were also reminded to keep their surroundings clean and hygienic at all times.
The initiative is in line with the Ipoh City Council aim for a cleaner and greener environment.
