Property Developer M K Land Holdings Berhad (M K Land) joined in bringing some shine to 41 orphans from two homes, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kasih Nurul Iman Negeri Perak and Maahad Tahfiz to break fast and receive duit Raya here recently.
This is part of the company’s program to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility at the places where it operates.
The Siri Jelajah Ramadan M K Land kicked off the journey in the Ramadan month in Damansara Perdana on March 13, followed by Ipoh (March 21) to Bukit Merah (March 22) and ended in Langkawi on March 24 which involved more then 250 orphans.
The company’s Corporate Communication Group Head Shahreen Rahim said:”It is also to project social well being and also to ensure no one is left out.
“It is hoped that the Siri Jelajah will inspire the children to think big and believe in their potential.
“The commitment of the company in the social aspect aligns with Environment, Social and Governance,” he added.
Among those who attended the event were M K Land Holdings Berhad Executive Chairman Tan Sri Felina Mustapha Kamal and other senior officials.
