Ipoh has its own Madani Woodlands Recreation Park now.

The Madani Woodlands 11 Recreation Park was launched by the Minister YB Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government yesterday.

Also present was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin, YB Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, Deputy Speaker of the Perak State Assembly, YB Tuan Loh Sze Yee, Chairman of the Industrial Tourism Committee, Investment and Development of the Perak Corridor.

The new park is Bandar Baru Tambun and members of the public can start enjoying the facilities there.

Nga also pledged RM10 Million Ringgit, channeled to the State Government of Perak for the development of 20 more Madani Recreation Parks this year.

This will surely go a long way to make the city greener and environment friendly.

This park was constructed by Total Investment Sdn Bhd with a budget of RM500,000.

Among the amenities available at the park are a running track, basketball hoops and rest area facilities.
