The record for the longest non-stop rock climbing relay was achieved at the Gunung Matsoorat here.
The feat was sanctioned by the Malaysia Book of Records team.
Present was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin.
The group effort took 72-hours and 30 participants to achieve the feat.
As part of the programme, some 10 seedlings donated by the Rotary Club of Ipoh South were also planted.
Also present was the executive director of Yahanis Yahaya Perak Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC), Megat Mohd Sharin chief executive officer of Rimba Management & Leisure Sdn Bhd.
