MB Inc carried out yet another corporate social responsibility (CSR) project recently to help five needy students with the presentation of laptops.
The initiative is carried out with the cooperation of the Rotary Club Malaysia.
To-date they have given out some 10 laptops to deserving and needy students in the state.
Present were state assemblyman for Pengkalan Baharu and special advisor for Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Abd Manaf Hashim.
Also present was assistant governor for Rotary Malaysia, Kamarul Dato’ Mohamad Arif and the principal of SMK Changkat Beruas, Dr. Husaini Abdullah among others.
“This year alone, MB Inc has collected unused computers and laptops to be presented to students from the B40 group.
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, academic needs have changed and the need for online learning has become crucial.
“We hope that this aid will help the students excel in their studies,” read the press statement from MB Inc.
The project is inline with the state government’s focus on three principles, namely Social, Education and Environment.
