The Ipoh City Council continues to attract visitors from other councils in the country who want to learn and adapt the various initiatives and innovations to enhance their administration to be more efficient and productive.
The council had won several awards at the state and national level.
Recently a delegation from Pasir Gudang City Council led by its Administrative Officer Zanariah Mohd Basri visited the council.
The purpose of the visit was to share strategic information between the councils on management of residential, business premises and infrastructure.
Also on the agenda was the management of the Smart Traffic System at Jalan Sultan Idris and implementation of the Smart City 2030.
The delegation was briefed by the council’s Facility Management Director Romzi Zamri at the Ipoh Integrated Operation Centre, UTC.
It is hoped that the visit will enhance the cooperation and relationship between the two councils.
