
A 13- member team from the Penang Island City Council made a courtesy call on their counterparts at the Ipoh City Council.
They were led by Dr. P. Bhavytira, the Medical Officer of the Penang Island City Council.
The group’s main aim was to share and learn on matters of common interest.
Among them were matters relating to management of refuse at private establishments and open areas, abandoned items at private homes and public areas, bird control, licensing for pet dogs among others.
The briefing for Ipoh City Council was led by M.Raman, director for health and Ahmad Zaiyadi Sudin, director of enforcement and safety.
Through this engagement, the Ipoh City Council hopes to further improve ties with MBPP and improve exchange of ideas for the common good.
