The newly appointed Mayor of Ipoh Tuan Zamakhshari Hanipah reported to office following his announcement by Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamed.
For the records, he is the 13th Mayor Ipoh City.
A welcoming committee headed by Ipoh City Council Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak, heads of departments and other officials were on hand to welcome him.
This was followed by a get-to-know session with the various members of the Ipoh City Council.
