Some 168 employees of the Ipoh City Council were presented with outstanding service awards for the year 2022 recently.
The ceremony was held at the Casuarina Hotel@Meru in Jepapang.
Lending presence was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin and other heads of departments.
Other than showing appreciation the presentation was also to motivate and encourage more workers to excel in their duties.
The ceremony is also in line with the Ipoh city council being among the top local councils in the country.
“We hope that more of our staff will rise to the occasion to do well in their duties thus providing the next service to the public,” said Rumaizi.
The colourful ceremony also saw several performances by the city council dance troupe.
