Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Makmur Negeri Perak honoured 113 pupils from 10 SJK (T) to show appreciation for their excellence in schools exams as well as their involvement in co curriculum activities for the year 2024/25 at Dewan Kovil Kanthan Sri Veeramakaliaman, Chemor on May 10.
Out of the eight pupils was also selected to receive the Datuk Seri Dr N.S. Selvamany Tokoh Guru Award while two more received the Tun V.T. Sambanthan Statesman Award.
They received cash, certificates, trophies and vouchers to the Lost World of Tambun.
The rest received cash, trophies and certificates.
Association Chairman K.Nachemuthu said”: the awards are in recognition of their excellence and also motivate them to achieve a higher level in secondary schools.
They will also be equipped with high competitiveness to be successful in the future,”he added.
Apart from excellent academic results, they also represented their schools, districts, state and national level co curriculum competitions.
Also present were education officials, headmasters, representatives of PTAs and temple committee members.
