Pangkor Island

As the domestic tourism sector is moving at a fast and furious pace, the Perak state government will resume the Pangkor Island service from Jan 22, 2022.

State exco for for Housing, Local Government and Tourism, Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi shared this positive development as the island has become one of the most hottest spots to be thronged by visitors.

The airport is expected to receive the first flight from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (LTSAAS) Subang Airport, Selangor. 

This new development will surely boost the tourism sector for Pangkor.

The airport will later receive a light aircraft carrying about 50 passengers.

“At the moment, we understand that the flight will have a frequency of between 3 to 4 times a week. “The direct flight will involve LTSAAS only and is coordinated by SKS Airways Airway Sdn. Bhd.,” she said.

The flight time from Subang is expected to be one hour and 15 minutes.
