PARK@PERAK has collaborated with Flexi Parking and the E- wallet Touch ‘n Go application for the convenience of motorists to select payment for their parking fees in Ipoh as well as throughout the state.
The council has fully implemented digital parking in terms of operations and parking fees for vehicles through the smart application PARK@PERAK in line with the Smart City status 2030.
PARK@PERAK is an application for digital parking for the whole state, while there is no physical parking coupons available in Ipoh City and all parking fees have to be paid online.
Ipoh City Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud said the council has also prepared a platform to recruit digital agents to assist the public.
“Todate, a total of 49 agents have been registered, we are also making an effort to appoint physical parking coupons agents into the digital agent platform,” he added.
Rumaizi also noted beginning 2024 parking fees had been implemented in several places in phases.
The first phase included Bandar Baru Tambun, Taman Perpaduan, Bercham Raya and Jalan Prima Meru.
Phase 2 are Laluan Rasi Jaya, Kledang Permai, Lebuh Kledang Utara, Laluan Menglembu, Jalan Jati, Jalan Temenggong, Susuran Anjung Tawas, Jalan Ampang Baru and Persiaran Halaman Ampang.
Phase 3 are Jalan Brash, Persiaran Brash, Jalan Tun Perak, Lorong Tun Perak and Jalan Sungai Pari.
Those who wish to park their vehicles inside the Ipoh Convention Centre can use the PARK@PERAK application to pay the parking fees.
Those who face difficulties related to parking can call Unit Letak Kereta at 05-2554377/78/87/88.
