Perak received a tremendous boost in promoting tourism when it was honored with four awards at the Malaysia Tourism Council (Tourism Malaysia) GOLD Awards 2021 ceremony.
They won the “Best Tourism Safer Destination ” award for Tourism Perak, ” Best Sustainable Tourism Program award for Taiping Town Council, Best Theme Park award for Sunway Lost World of Tambun and Best Historical Unique Destination award for Kellie’s Castle.
There was keen competition at the awards ceremony as there were many participants from all over the country.
