Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) hosted a Nasi Lemak Kopi O’ session with media representatives at the Cafe Lake View, Tasik Cermin aimed at fostering and enhancing relationships between the corporation and media on October 23.
This casual get together against the picturesque backdrop of Tasik Cermin brought its CEO Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak and media fraternity to discuss the progress of the corporation’s flashship projects under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 framework.
The event also refreshes the media’s understanding of these initiatives and provides the latest updates on the development.
The event was an open platform for dialogue in which Redza Rafiq emphasized the critical role that the media plays in communicating PKNPk’s efforts to the public.
The media raised several questions on certain issues and the CEO explained how problems are tackled and solved.
He also noted under the framework the corporation had embarked on several transformative projects that are set to shape the future of Perak.
“Our projects under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 don’t exist in isolation – they rely on the support and understanding of the people of Perak.
“The media are our vital connection to the public and help us maintain transparency and keep the community informed,” he added.
Also present were three SK St Michael students who are members of the media team of the school.
They were given an opportunity and had a taste of journalism when they interviewed the CEO. Also present were CEO’s of PKNPk’ subsidiaries.
