It is time to go back to school, a business entity in Ipoh came forward to enlighten the financial burden of parents who struggle to send their children to school.
Centre Side Express Sdn Bhd (CSE) involved in logistics and transport organised the back to school program at Mydin Hypermarket Meru here recently.
It involved 166 students from 30 primary, secondary schools and pre-schools in Ipoh.
According to the company’s Managing Director Datuk Lal Ravindrarajuloo Naidu they initially expected 100 students from Manjoi which is his place of birth.
“Looking at the increase in the number of recipients we understand the difficulties faced by the parents in preparing uniforms, shoes and other necessities.
“We came forward to give the aid so that students will start their school season in high spirit,” he added.
Lal also noted that such a program will strengthen relationships and cooperation between media, school community and local community.
The students were taken around the supermarket to make the purchases.
Also present were founder of Kedai Emas Rozita Zanizan Shahir, BERKAT Manjoi Chairman Fadzili Che Li and Gabung Redah Amal Chairman Ramli Ahmad Rozali.
