Early exposure to emergency medical aid is vital to youngsters, especially children.
With this in mind, the Ipoh City Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud launched the “Dr Little Club: A & E Life Saver on call 2023” at Pantai Hospital on August 20.
Present were hospital’s CEO Ms Chong Siet Fong and Senior Operations Manager Rajpal Singh.
Through this programme it will not expose them to only medical experience but different aspects including a career in the future and also be prepared for any emergency.
They will be able to get a closer look at the cases and various kinds of treatment in the emergency department which operates 24 hours and X Ray department.
It will also instil interest in the minds of the youngsters in the field of medical and health so they can look forward to becoming doctors, specialists and nurses.
There is a need to focus on accidents and emergency cases which will occur among the public whether it is serious or otherwise.
All quarters have a role to play to gain experience and to initiate action to reduce accidents or emergencies.
Ipoh City Council is prepared to fully support any quarter which intends to organise such beneficial events.
