The Haven Resort in Tambun, Ipoh has been rebranded as the TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh.

This is following its strategic collaboration with TUI Blue, a leading international hotel chain from Germany to improve the marketing and management of its esteemed property. 

According to a press statement, starting from Sept 9, 2024, the effort will mark a new chapter for The Haven Resort in its aims of  delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. 

This collaboration merges The Haven Resort’s commitment to personalised luxury and TUI BLUE’s innovative approach to modern hotel management. 

Guests can expect the same warm and welcoming atmosphere, now enhanced by TUI BLUE’s signature touches, including a focus on exceptional services, sustainability, and tailored guest experiences. 

The TUI BLUE will elevate the quality and service of The Haven Resort and enhance it as a destination that meets the growing demands of today’s global travelers. 

The partnership with TUI BLUE brings a wealth of expertise and with an emphasis on high quality service, outstanding dining and a broad range of leisure activities. 

According to the CEO of The Haven, Peter Chan, “I am pleased to announce the collaboration of The Haven with TUI BLUE, Germany. This has come about after two years of discussion.With The Haven  Resort, we have thus far attracted more than 140,000 foreign tourists from over 100 countries to stay with us in Ipoh. With the branding and expertise of TUI BLUE, we can comfortably expect extensive growth in the years to come.”

CEO of TUI BLUE, Arthur Gerber says,” It is with immense gratitude and excitement that I stand before you today at this grand opening of TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh. Today marks a significant milestone and landmark occasion for the TUI BLUE brand as we proudly launch our first TUI BLUE hotel in Malaysia, right here in the enchanting city of Ipoh.

Executive Director of The Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jan Noether say,”  I had in the past passed by Ipoh three times on my way to Penang. It is my first time in Ipoh and I am in The Haven. It is really fantastic. I had the pleasure to spend the first hour here with Mr Chan. This place is really remarkable. 

“TUI is the biggest tour operator in the world. They have 19 million customers a year, 400 over hotels and resorts, 17 cruise ships, five airlines with 130 aircrafts, 1,200 travel agencies and employees all over the world for its operation that spans over 140 countries. This is the first venture in Malaysia and as the path of the Chamber, there are more ventures to come.”

Meanwhile, Ipoh Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud who was present at the event said,” I am confident the collaboration between the TUI BLUE and The Haven will be highly successful and will pave the way for TUI BLUE’s rapid expansion across Malaysia and Singapore, while The Haven extends its presence to Bintan and Indonesia.

“I would like to commend TUI BLUE for its astute choice. The Haven Ipoh is an exceptional resort, and Ipoh’s location is unmatched for such a development. I fully endorse Chan’s view that Ipoh is an ideal resort destination,” he said.
