In an effort to attract entrepreneurs from China, a trade exhibition, the largest to be hosted in the city, will be held at Indera Mulia Stadium from August 1 to 4.
The expo organised by the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Perak branch in collaboration with Ipoh City Council has attracted entrepreneurs from China, Thailand and the local business community.
“Since China is expanding rapidly in trade, economy and smart technology fields. We have to explore and take the opportunities in these sectors”, said Ipoh City Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud
“It will enable us to expand the trade flow and transactions with the country, enhance the quality of products and train local talents.
“The time has come for Malaysia to compete with developed countries”, he told reporters here recently.
Also present was Perak MCCC’s President Lai Weng Keong
The exhibition is also in line with Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) to attract investors to generate local economic activities.
The exhibition will display franchise, artificial intelligence, digital economy and consumer products.
