A working delegation from Turkey paid an official visit to Ipoh recently.
They were from the Municipal Council of Istanbul, Turkey led by Mr. Ergün Şensoy, chief operating officer along with Mr. Ceyhun Kan (Sales & marketing manager) from Orakci Makina Corporation.
They had a meeting with Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin to discuss bilateral interests and areas of cooperation.
It was truly a great honour for Ipoh for Turkey to take notice of the city and offer its cooperation and other ventures for mutual benefit.
Among the areas of interest are tourism, investment and technological opportunities.
Surely, there will be great opportunities for both parties from these preliminary meetings.
