Uzbekistan’s national junior hockey teams are on a 20-day training session in Ipoh, Perak.
The teams consist of the boys and girls teams at the Raja Ashman Hockey Academy.
Officials from the team made a courtesy call on Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin at his office.
What more, they presented the mayor with their traditional national costume which clearly made the mayor look good in the outfit.
Rumaizi was seen all smiles trying out the splendid and dashing attire.
Also on hand was Perak Hockey Association deputy president Datuk Abdul Rahim Ariff.
Rahim is also the chairman of Raja Ashman Academy and member of the executive board of the Asian Hockey Federation.
This development comes hot on the heels of the inaugural Malaysian team’s victory at the 29th edition of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup held in Ipoh last month.
