The magic of Christmas came alive at WEIL Hotel as the hotel was transformed into an ethereal Aurora Winter Wonderland celebrating the joy, warmth, and wonder of the festive season on December 5.
The 4.5 metre high Christmas tree located in the hotel lobby was a true labour of love and creativity.
The flower petals were made of 100 percent discarded bed linens which were reinvented into delicate, shimmering petals by the hotel’s Housekeeping Associates, while the Engineering and AV teams orchestrated a dazzling lighting display that made the tree sparkle like a winter dream.
It became a captivating centerpiece, a testament to collaboration, ingenuity and the festive spirit that defines WEIL.
Hotel’s Managing Director Liew Yu-Wei said,” the beauty of this Christmas tree goes beyond its lights and petals – it reflects the dedication, creativity and heart of our entire WEIL family.
“Christmas is about coming together,giving back, and spreading joy and this Christmas tree embodies all of that,” he added.
Adding a touch of interactive fun, guests were invited to a Count & Win challenge estimating the number of handcrafted petals on the Christmas tree.
Participants could share their guesses with a selfie on social media for a chance to win delightful prizes.
The event was graced by the presence of WEIL Hotel’s Chairman Datuk Liew Siew Yee together with his family.
This year the celebration reached beyond the hotel walls as it welcomed children and families from Ray of Hope and Pusat Jagaan Praise Ipoh to share in the festive joy.
Kingdomcity Ipoh performed a soulful line-up of Christmas carols before gifting children specially prepared Hope Bags.
VIPs, media members and guests were treated to an exclusive preview tasting of the Jingle Fusion Christmas Buffet Dinner featuring a festive menu designed to delight all ages.
